This is a poem based on the next song I’m planning on releasing. I wanted to see what words and emotions I could choose for this different format, as lyrics and poems are very different to write. Enjoy!
What are you
Even
Doing here?
She says,
As she watches me
Hyperventilate.
All I hear
Is:
If you’re
Really
As talented
As it seems you are,
Why can’t I tell?
Always. Everyday. Every moment.
Show me who you are
With every breath
That you have.
But sometimes,
All I want
Is a good
Coffee.
But all the shops are
s h u t.
